(1) Well made copy in walnut in nice condition. Reproduction tablets, the lower one saying "U. S. Lighthouse Establishment ". German made time and strike brass movement.(2) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old and possibly original finish. The zinc dial was repaired in the center and the winding hole has been enlarged. The dial has darkened a little with some surface stains. The dial is signed "A. Hornby, Wethersfield ". The case now contains a Kilbourn & Proctor movement. Both tablets are later replacements. Replaced hands. The cast brass bezel and it's attached mounting ring looks to be the type used by the Waterbury Clock Co. It doesn't fit the head very well as a couple mounting holes are outside the case sides.
